Rental Policies
AN ADDITIONAL DRIVERS FEE OF EUR 5.83 PER DAY WITH A MAXIMUM OF EUR 87.50 PER RENTAL PLUS VAT AND AIRPORT SURCHARGE WHERE APPLICABLE APPLIES. FULL RENTAL CONDITIONS APPLY FOR ALL ADDITIONAL DRIVERS.
FOLLOW THE SIGNS TO CAR RENTAL RETURN AND PARK THE VEHICLE AT SIGNED CAR RENTAL GARAGE FLOOR -1. TAKE THE ELEVATOR TO FLOOR 0 AND FOLLOW THE CAR RENTAL SIGNS TO OUR COUNTER. PLEASE LEAVE KEY AND DOCUMENT IN DROP BOX AT COUNTER. NO CAR RETURNS BETWEEN 12.00 PM AND 5.00 AM ARE POSSIBLE.
THE MINIMUM AGE FOR CARS GROUPS MINI - MCMR, ECONOMY - ECMR, ECAN, ECAR, EWAR, COMPACT - CCMR, DDMR, CCAR, DDAR, CWMR, CKMN, INTERMEDIATE - IDMR, IWMR, IDAR, IVMR AND STANDARD - SDAR, SDMR, SWMR, SWAR, SVMR, IS 19 YEARS OF AGE. CAR GROUPS FULLSIZE OR HIGHER ARE ONLY AVAILABLE FOR RENTERS AGED 25 YEARS OLD AND ABOVE. ON COMPLETION OF THE RESERVATION IT IS RECOMMEDNED TO CAREFULLY CHECK THE LOCAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS. AN ADDITIONAL YOUNG DRIVERS FEE OF EURO 10.00 PER DAY PLUS VAT AND AIRPORT SURCHARGE WHERE APPLICABLE FOR ALL DRIVERS AGEED 19 TO 24 APPLIES. THERE IS NO MAXIMUM AGE FEE OR RULE.
CDW Collision Damage Waiver is included in rates with an excess amount of EUR 540.00 per incident or damage for car classes from Mini through Compact. For car classes Intermediate and higher an excess amount of EUR 780.00 per incident or damage applies. On exclusive products the purchase of CDW is highly recommended with a daily rate depending on car group. The excess ranges from EUR 540.00 to EUR 780.00 depending on car group.
In the event of an accident, any damage or theft, the driver MUST obtain the relevant police report.
If no police report is provided, the driver will be liable for the total cost of the damages up to and including the total cost of the vehicle.
A handling fee of 48.00 EUR inclusive of VAT will apply if the customer receives any type of ticket.
Megadrive - National is not liable for lost, forgotten items left in the rental vehicle.
DOMESTIC ONEWAYS ARE AVAILABLE FROM CITY TO CITY IN AUSTRIA AT A SURCHARGE OF EUR 70 PLUS VAT AND AIRPORT SURCHARGE, WHERE APPLICABLE. NO FEE APPLIES IF RENTAL PERIOD EXCEEDS 14 DAYS. ONEWAY RENTALS WITHIN THE SAME CITY ARE AVAILABLE AT A SURCHARGE OF 25 EUR PLUS VAT AND AIRPORT SURCHARGE, WHERE APPLICABLE. FOR INTERNATIONAL ONEWAYS FROM AUSTRIA TO ANY RENTAL LOCATION IN HUNGARY AND SLOVAKIA AN INTERNATIONAL ONEWAY FEE OF 250 EUR PER RENTAL PLUS VAT AND AIRPORT SURCHARGE, WHERE APPLICABLE, APPLIES. THE MINIMUM RENTAL PERIOD IS 3 DAYS. ONEWAY RENTALS INTO ANY OTHER COUNTRY OUTSIDE THE TERRITORIES OF HUNGARY, SLOVAKIA OR AUSTRIA ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED. IF A CUSTOMER DROPS THE RENTAL VEHICLE AT ANY OTHER RENTAL LOCATION OUTSIDE OF THESE TERRITORIES THEY WILL BE LIABLE FOR THE FULL RENTAL VEHICLE RECOVERY COSTS INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IDLE DAYS, TRANSPORTATION OF THE VEHICLE, ETC.
ALL VEHICLES ARE DELIVERED WITH A FULL TANK OF PETROL AND MUST BE RETURNED IN THE SAME CONDITION. IF THE VEHICLE IS RETURNED WITH LESS THAN A FULL TANK, REFUELING CHARGES PLUS AN ADDITIONAL 15.00 EUR SERVICE CHARGE EXCL VAT AND AIRPORT SURCHARGE, WHERE APPLICABLE WILL APPLY. THIS RENTAL LOCATION ALSO OFFERS A FUEL SERVICE OPTION, PREPAID FUEL TANK FULL TO EMPTY, FOR AN ADDITIONAL LOCAL CHARGE DEPENDING ON THE CAR GROUP.
RATES INCLUDE A MAXIMUM OF 4000 KM. ANY ADDITIONAL KM WILL BE CHARGED SEPARATELY DEPENDING ON CAR GROUP.
Cross border travel - Customer must advise the car will be driven out of country of rental at the beginning of the rental. The use of a ferry boat is not allowed. If cars may be taken into the following countries - Germany, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Italy, Croatia,Slovenia,Switzerland,Liechenstein,France,Spain,Portugal,Andorra,Monaco,Luxembourg,Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, United Kingdom, Ireland and Czech Republic.
The rental vehicle is prohibited from being taken into Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Estonia, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Montenegro, Russian Federation, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Turkey, Poland and Albania.
For all permitted countries an additional surcharge of 10.00 EUR per day plus VAT and airport surcharge where applicable with a maximum of EUR 100.00 per rental plus VAT and airport surcharge, where applicable, will apply and will have to be paid by the renter at the time of pick up.
Prior consent from Megadrive-Enterprise is essential before cross border travel can be agreed. If customer travels abroad without informing Megadrive-Enterprise accordingly, the full responsibility for any financial obligations – accident, breakdown etc., will lie with the renter.
PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE PAI IS OPTIONAL AND CAN BE PURCHASED AT THE TIME OF PICKUP FOR AN ADDITIONAL DAILY CHARGE. THE COST OF PAI PER DAY IS 6.67 EUR PLUS AN ADDITIONAL VAT AND AIRPORT SURCHARGE, IF APPLICABLE, WITH A MAXIMUM OF 120 EUR PER RENTAL PLUS AN ADDITIONAL VAT AND AIRPORT SURCHARGE, IF APPLICABLE. THE MAXIMUM COVERAGE PER PERSON IS 10,000.00 EUR IN CASE OF DEATH AS WELL AS 20,000.00 EUR IN CASES OF INJURY RESULTING IN DISABILITY. THE INSURANCE CLAIM HAS TO BE SUBMITTED BY THE INJURED PARTY. THE RENTAL LOCATION IS ONLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COMMUNICATION OF CONTACT DETAILS.
A MAJOR CREDIT CARD IN THE NAME OF THE RENTER MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF PICKUP. AMERICAN EXPRESS, VISA, AND MASTERCARD ARE ACCEPTED. CURRENCY LOSS SHALL ALWAYS BE BORNE BY THE CUSTOMER. TOUR VOUCHERS IN PRINTED PAPER FORM ARE ACCEPTED. NO DIGITAL VOUCHER IS ACCEPTED. DEBIT OR BANK CARDS AND CASH PAYMENTS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. AT THE BEGINNING OF THE RENTAL THE CUSTOMERS CREDIT CARD WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE EXCESS PLUS THE ADDITIONAL EXTRAS PURCHASED AT THE TIME OF PICK UP AT A MINIMUM OF EUR 700.
Roadside assistance is provided during as well as outside the normal operating hours. Please call 0043 0 800 070 353. In specific cases such as lost keys, lockouts, fuel outage, roadside assistance is not offered free of charge - financial responsibility lies with the renter and cannot be waived.
ALL DRIVERS, INCLUDING ADDITIONAL DRIVERS, MUST HAVE HELD THEIR DRIVERS LICENSE FOR A MINIMUM PERIOD OF 1 YEAR. A PASSPORT WILL BE REQUIRED FOR IDENTIFICATION PURPOSES. IN SPECIFIC CASES THE RENTAL AGENT MAY ASK FOR A PROOF OF RESIDENCE OR A FLIGHT TICKET. AN INTERNATIONAL DRIVERS LICENSE IS ONLY REQUIRED FOR DRIVERS WHOSE LICENSE IS WRITTEN IN NON-LATIN CHARACTERS. IF THE RENTAL AGENT IS UNCERTAIN ABOUT RENTERS HEALTH CONDITIONS, SUCH AS BEING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DRUGS OR ALCOHOL, A RENTAL MAY BE REFUSED.

For the most accurate pricing, start a reservation.
To rent a car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car in the United States and Canada, you will need the following:
- To be 25 years old
- A valid driver's license with a photo
- A photo ID (For example: a driver’s license or passport)
- Credit or debit card (check the acceptable forms of payment at the location you’re renting from)
Some locations may require additional information, including but not limited to:
- An International Driving Permit (IDP): If the license is written in a language or characters different to those of the country of rental, an IDP is also required. Renters are advised to check whether local authorities require foreign drivers to present an International Driving Permit to avoid the risk of potential fines. Renters with licenses from countries who are not part of the International Driving Permit Agreement should carry a certified translation.
- Return travel and accommodation information: Visitors to the UK must also provide proof of return travel and accommodation information while in the UK.
As a customer, you have a choice as to how you would like to pay for fuel.
Fuel Policy at Non-Airport locations:
- You may refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level you received when you picked up the vehicle, or if you choose not to refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level, you will be charged the local Enterprise rate which is typically above the local pump price. An additional refueling charge may apply at some locations.
- A full tank of gas is not guaranteed.
Fuel Policy at Airport Car Rental Locations:
- You may refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level you received when you picked up the vehicle, or if you choose not to refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level, you will be charged the local Enterprise rate which is typically above the local pump price. An additional refueling charge may apply at some locations.
- You may opt to pre-pay for fuel -- Pre-pay gives you two conveniences:
- You can avoid the hassle of having to fuel up the vehicle before returning.
- Pre-pay fuel option is calculated at the local rate of gas minus a per gallon discount.
Note: Prepaid fuel is only sold in full tanks at the discounted price per gallon and is not refundable. Local fuel rates will vary by the area you are renting a vehicle.
